St Michael's Mixed Club 1950-1955
The youth club known as the Mixed Club thrived in Tilehurst, Reading in the early 1950s.
In 1997 a reunion was held at a hotel near Reading when many of the members turned up to meet their friends most of whom they had not seen since they were all in their teens.
Since then other Tilehurst friends, who had not necessarily been in the club, have joined in the reunions.
Three more reunions have been held in 2000,2003 and 2006, with more of the original members being able to come. Another will be held in 2008.
These pages show photographs from the 1950s and from the reunions. If anyone has other pictures from the Mixed Club days I would be very grateful if you could send me a scanned copy of them.
